Refrigerator Repair Tulsa Frequently Asked Questions:

Customer:

Hey, this is Scott and I’m with the owner of AB service company, Allan. He has been doing work here in the Tulsa area for a number of years. And I’d like to learn a little bit more about some other things that he can help me with like refrigerator repair Tulsa. First off, I’ve been having trouble with my refrigerator once typically a good time for me to give you a call or, or when do you recommend getting my refrigerator checked? We are the Tulsa HVAC and Tulsa heat and air pros!

Allan:

Well, you can call us at any time you like, but you should get it probably checked out at least once a year, aside from a refrigerator repair Tulsa. You know, if you’re not cleaning the coils on the refrigerator yourself, you should probably have us come and do it. But you know, if the temperature is not right on it or, you know, making a noise or something like that, then you should probably call us and get it checked out.

Customer:

Okay. So typically when you’re running through a standard refrigerator maintenance, is it pretty easy to clean out the coils or is that something that’s dangerous at all? Should I avoid that or just have you do it?

Allan:

Well, you can have us do it, or, you know, you can watch YouTube videos too, that we’ll show you how to do it. It’s most refrigerators are fairly simple. You just pop off the little plastic grill on the very bottom of the refrigerator and take a vacuum cleaner and vacuum the cools off. And that will extend the life of the compressor for your refrigerator.

Customer:

Okay. and typically the compressors, the portion of that that’ll give out

Allan:

Typically yes. If you don’t clean the coils that runs the, the head pressure up on the refrigerator, which will cause the compressor to go out. And generally, you know, if your compressor goes out on a refrigerator, you’re probably looking at buying a new one cause it’s very expensive to fix.

Customer:

Okay. Well, we definitely don’t want that. When it comes down to just typical routine maintenance, other than just manually cleaning up the coils, is there anything else I should be doing that would be worth taking my time to do?

Allan:

Well, I mean, if it has a water filter, you know, obviously changed the water filter, but other than that, no, there’s really not any other maintenance to do on it.

Customer:

Okay. And then if I’m faced with the situation in which my refrigerator’s making a lot of noises off and on is that something that I should be concerned about?

Allan:

Absolutely. I mean, if it’s making a noise that is not typical for the machine to be making, then yeah. You should probably give us a call and have it checked out immediately.

Customer:

Okay. And then last resort, obviously my refrigerator suddenly just stops keeping temperature and it puts the food inside of it. You know, just a matter of time it’s going to go bad without a refrigerator repair Tulsa. Is there any quick fix or anything I should double check before having you come right over to get that taken care of?

Allan:

Well, as we spoke of before, I would definitely check the calls, make sure they’re not real dirty or anything. That’s something you could do yourself and save yourself a service call. But other than that, if it’s not keeping temperature, right, you probably ought to call us.

Customer:

Okay. So I would just cut to the chase not waste my time and give you a call so I can make sure I’m not losing any of that precious steak I bought the night before. That would be a good idea. All right. And then how do I know that AB service companies, the right fit for me? Because I think there’s some other people out there that I could give a call.

Allan:

Well, we’re the right fit for any customer. So you know, we have a lot of five-star reviews. You can go in and check our reviews out. You know, we always call before we come out and make sure, you know, we’ll give you a courtesy call. We don’t want to just show up at your house between, you know, such and such time. And you not know that, you know, who’s knocking on the door. So and like I said, most of all read our reviews and that’ll pretty much tell you that we’re the company to go with here in Tulsa.

What Makes Our Refrigerator Repair Tulsa Better?

Customer:

You know, now that you mentioned it, I have noticed that there are a couple hundred reviews online of people talking about their experience with you. And I can’t help, but notice that perfect rating. It seems like most other appliance repair companies or even heating and air companies in the area tend to really struggle with keeping their customer satisfied. How do you how do you do it, make sure that everyone’s as a smile on their face before you’re gone?

Allan:

Well, I mean, we just we have a lot of experience in what we do and you know, we just shoot people straight. You know, we don’t beat around the Bush. We’ll give you a straight up honest evaluation of your appliance or your heating air needs. And then give you a firm price of, you know, what it’s going to cost to fix or replace. And you know, we don’t, we don’t change that up, you know, we’re not halfway through the job and then say, Oh, well, by the way, you know, you need this, this and that. That’s going to be, you know, extra. So we just try to be as upfront and honest as we can. And, and you know, that’s how we have about 60% of our businesses repeat and referrals and that’s how we get it.

Customer:

Wow. Well, that’s really important. And then you don’t offer refrigerator repair Tulsa only, right?

Allan:

Correct. we work on a lot of different appliances, refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, microwaves ovens, just a lot of, a lot of different stuff. And we also do heating and air conditioning too.

Customer:

Nice. So I’ll keep that in mind. And how long have you been in the appliance repair and heating and air industry? Well,

Allan:

I’ve been doing appliance repair since I was 14 years old and I’m almost 52 now. So whatever the math is on that. And then I’ve been doing heating and air conditioning since about probably 1998. So that would be about 20 years.

Customer:

Wow. Well, you probably know what you’re doing then with HVAC and refrigerator repair Tulsa. And then when it comes to appliance repair brands, are there some refrigerators that you simply recommend staying away from due to expensive repairs or expensive maintenance or just not lasting as long as they should?

Allan:

There are some brands that I would recommend that you stay away from. I won’t mention the names here. You know, it could be a legal issue, so I don’t want to get myself in trouble, but yes, we will definitely, you know, let you know, you know, if we come out to your house and let’s say your compressor is bad on your refrigerator and, you know, we always get those questions, you know, well, what brand would you recommend me to buy at that point? We will just recommend one to buy and would recommend, you know, staying away from, you know, X, Y, and Z.

Customer:

Got it. And when you make a recommendation, you don’t necessarily get a cut for that. You’re just looking after the best interest of the customer, right?

Allan:

Exactly. We have no financial interest in, you know, telling you to go with this brand or that brand.

Customer:

Well, I really appreciate building that trustworthy relationship with me and your customers. And it clearly seems like you have superior reviews, not only on just Google, but also on other platforms like yellow pages and Yelp and Thumbtack and many great video testimonials. Other than that, the experience, would you say you’re priced pretty well as well?

Allan:

No, we we’re fairly priced. I mean, there’s a lot of customers that I’ve talked to on a day-to-day basis that say, you know, X, Y, Z company, you know, charging me this last time and, you know, you guys were rarely a good price and fairly priced. And so I would like to think that we’re competitive, but yet we still give a fair price.

Refrigerator Repair Tulsa & Also HVAC Experts

Customer:

That’s fantastic. And then when it comes to, he did an air conditioning I don’t ever like to have someone do a tuneup on my air conditioning system or my heating system because I don’t really know what’s actually being done or if it’s useful. Do you recommend that I get that done?

Allan:

I highly recommend that you get your air conditioner and heater check especially in the Tulsa area. There’s a lot of you know, most, most furnaces are gas. And so you have to worry about, you know, carbon monoxide emissions. And so I would definitely get the furnace checked every year. I would also recommend getting a carbon monoxide detector if you don’t have one. And as far as the AC maintenance, that’s kind of like changing the oil in your car, Scott, you know, you want to do that from time to time. I mean, you wouldn’t buy a new car. I never changed the oil in it. So just like we spoke of earlier about cleaning the coals on your refrigerator, you also need to clean the coals on your AC system, because at the same, same token, you know, the, the coal is dirty, then you will get very high head pressure on the compressor, which weakens it. And if a compressor goes out on your air conditioner, you’re most likely going to be replacing it. So, yes, I highly recommend that you have your AC and heat checked every year.

Customer:

Okay. Well, that makes sense. I’ll probably have to start doing that. And then let me just get this straight. If I have a small appliance that needs to get repaired with you, not a refrigerator repair Tulsa. You take care of those. Because last night my handheld mixer broke.

Allan:

No, we we don’t work on small appliances like that. You know, I mean, by the time you paid us to, you know, try to fix a handheld mixer, you could’ve went to the hardware store or one of the box stores and bought one for a lot cheaper.

Customer:

Got it. So you’re just looking out for the customer. Absolutely. Well, thank you so much, Allen for telling me about this refrigerator repair Tulsa experience and the things that we need to know about this. Is there any anything else that we should do, or do you offer any offers for first-time customers?

Allan:

Yes, we offer a $25 off your first appliance repair. And we also offer $40 off your first repair of a heating or air conditioning system. And we also give a 10% discount to military and seniors. Okay,

Customer:

Perfect. Thank you, Allan.
